Why Follow Your Dreams??? : Our Motivation for Today the Multiple Award Winning Writer....Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie

At the age of 19 she dropped out of medical school because,she knew she would be a miserable doctor....

 She decided to go ahead and pursue her dream of been a writer.
      During her senior year at Eastern that she started writing her first novel, Purple Hibiscus,which was published in 2003 and won  the Commonwealth Writers' Prize for Best First Book (2005). She is the author of Half of a Yellow Sun which was adapted into a movie ,The Thing around Your Neck a collection of short stories, and her most recent novel Americanah, which was selected New York Times best books of 2013.

      Adichie also spoke on being a feminist for TEDx Euston in December 2012, with her speech titled, "We should all be feminists" This speech was used by Beyonce in her song titled Flawless, and it attracted lots of attention all over the world.
 Chimamda is a multiple award winning writer, a Feminist , a wife , and most importantly she embraces and encourages everything that makes us Black ,African and Female.
